Former Lagos State lawmaker, Mr. Olusola Sokunle, has expressed confidence that any coalition formed to unseat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election will not succeed. Sokunle, who represented Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly from 2015 to 2023, shared his views during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Reacting to recent announcements of opposition coalitions aimed at challenging the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next election, Sokunle stated, "No gang-up can work against the President; he is performing well, and Nigerians will vote for him again. Tinubu is a great strategist and understands the political game better than those ganging up against him."
The ex-lawmaker commended President Tinubu's leadership since assuming office in 2023, highlighting his bold steps to reset the economy, improve security.
