Ihuoma Julia Nneji, daughter of ABC Transport owner Frank Nneji, has publicly condemned the Nigeria Police Force’s decision to declare her wanted without prior invitation or notification. In a statement released over the weekend, Nneji described the move as shocking and unjust, alleging that the accusations against her stem from a personal vendetta orchestrated by her ex-fiancé, Henry Uzochukwu

Nneji, 34, was recently listed in a Special Police Gazette Bulletin issued by the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC) in Abuja. She is accused of criminal defamation, injurious falsehood, and cyberstalking. However, she maintains that she was never invited for questioning or informed of any petition against her before being declared wanted.

“This is a blatant abuse of due process,” Nneji stated. “I was never invited, questioned, or informed about any complaint. To wake up and see my name on a wanted list is shocking, humiliating, and deeply unfair.”

According to Nneji, the allegations against her are rooted in a personal dispute with Uzochukwu, whom she was engaged to marry before calling off the wedding in August 2024. She claims that her decision was based on disturbing discoveries about Uzochukwu’s personal life, which led to harassment and false accusations against her.

“I have never defamed, blackmailed, or stalked anyone, either on my verified social media pages or elsewhere,” she asserted. “The real victim here is me. I am being punished for refusing to go ahead with a marriage built on deception.”
