In a lighthearted moment, she addressed the audience with, “Annie Idi… Oh! Sorry, Annie Macaulay. Hey, single ladies!”—prompting cheers and applause.
This confirmation follows months of speculation after 2Baba publicly announced their separation in January 2025. Annie had previously hinted at the split when she reappeared on social media in March 2025, signing off with her full name, Annie Uwana Macaulay, notably dropping “Idibia.”
The former couple, who share two children, had been under public scrutiny for years due to reports of infidelity and family disputes. Despite past reconciliations, their marriage officially ended earlier this year.
