The Minister emphasized that frequent international trips are vital for strengthening Nigeria’s diplomatic and economic relations with global partners.
Speaking at a press conference today, the Foreign Minister highlighted that strategic foreign visits are crucial for advancing Nigeria’s global standing, securing foreign investments, and forging new partnerships. With Nigeria’s economy growing and the country emerging as a key player on the African continent, the Minister asserted that these trips are a necessary investment in the nation’s future.

By fostering stronger ties with foreign governments, international organizations, and multinational corporations, Nigeria can secure beneficial agreements that will contribute to the country’s long-term development.
As part of his diplomatic vision, President Tinubu has already undertaken several foreign visits, and according to the Foreign Minister, these trips have yielded promising outcomes, from trade agreements to new alliances. The Minister emphasized that expanding these engagements will help Nigeria not only to influence global policy but also to attract investments that are vital for the country’s infrastructure, technological growth, and job creation.
