Mr. Femi Ogunrombi popularly known by his stage name as Papa Ajasco is dead.
Late Ogunrombi was known for his famous role in a movie titled “Papa Ajasco” which is based on the background of a family comprised of an adulterous father, an immoral mother, and a son full of erotic affairs and Wale Adenuga’s comedy, series.
The Veteran Nollywood actor was confirmed dead by Husseini Shaibu, a member of the theatre practitioner, via his Twitter handle on Sunday 15th, January 2023.
Husseini said, “I have just been reliably informed that the ethnomusicologist, former Music Instructor with #NATIONALTROUPE and one-time stand-in for the ‘Papa Ajasco’ character on the popular #waleadenugaprod Comic Series ‘Papa Ajasco’ Mr. Femi Ogunrombi is DEAD!”
It was reported that Late Femi Ogunrombi took over the role of Papa Ajasco when the former character Mr. Abiodu Ayoyinka pulled out of the show. May his soul Rest in Perfect Peace.
