The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has officially announced the successful completion of Hajj 1446, marking the end of this year's sacred pilgrimage. Prince Saud bin Mishaal, Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, confirmed that the pilgrimage was conducted smoothly, with no major security, health, or service-related incidents.
This year, over 1.6 million pilgrims participated in the holy journey, including 1,506,576 international pilgrims and 166,654 domestic pilgrims from within Saudi Arabia. The total number of pilgrims reached 1,673,230, comprising 877,841 men and 795,389 women.
Prince Saud bin Mishaal extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for their leadership in ensuring the safety and well-being of all pilgrims. He also praised the cooperation and compliance of the pilgrims, which contributed to the overall success of the season.
"The pilgrims performed their rites in safety and peace, thanks to the distinguished execution of operational plans by the Kingdom’s leadership," Prince Mishaal stated.
With the conclusion of Hajj 1446, preparations for the next pilgrimage season have already begun. Saudi Arabia remains committed to enhancing services and ensuring a seamless experience for future pilgrims.
