Police Arrest Eight Suspects Linked to Cult-Related Killings in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has successfully apprehended eight individuals suspected of involvement in a series of cult-related killings within Yaba College of Technology and its surrounding areas.




During the operation, law enforcement officers recovered several weapons, including one Beretta pistol, four rounds of 9mm ammunition, one cartridge, two battle axes, and two cutlasses, further indicating the violent nature of the suspects’ alleged activities.




The Lagos State Police Command has assured the public that investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of the suspects’ involvement in cult-related activities. The Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, commended the swift and coordinated efforts of the operatives and reiterated the Command’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all residents and visitors in Lagos.




“We urge members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to law enforcement authorities,” CP Jimoh stated. “The Lagos Police Command will continue to work tirelessly to protect lives and property across the state.”
