The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ajuri Ngelale, has responded to the recent political developments, labeling former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Governor Peter Obi, and ex-Governor Nasir El-Rufai as "sore losers" whose attempts to form a political coalition are rooted in frustration and a personal vendetta against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement issued today, Mr. Ngelale denounced the actions of the three prominent political figures, accusing them of attempting to undermine the legitimate victory of President Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election. He characterized their collaboration as a desperate maneuver born out of bitterness and a refusal to accept the electoral results.

"Atiku, Obi, and El-Rufai's coalition is nothing more than a group of sore losers conspiring together out of sheer frustration and a deep-seated hatred for President Tinubu," Ngelale said. "These individuals failed to secure the trust of the Nigerian people during the election, and now, rather than focusing on nation-building, they are teaming up to undermine the legitimate government."

The aide emphasized that these political figures are resorting to playing divisive politics instead of engaging in constructive opposition. Ngelale reminded Nigerians that the electoral process, despite challenges, was fair and transparent, with the will of the people reflected in the outcome. He further criticized them for disregarding the democratic process in favor of self-serving political interests.

"Rather than accepting defeat with grace and moving forward for the sake of the nation, they are choosing to sow division and spread hatred in an attempt to destabilize the progress President Tinubu's administration is making for the betterment of Nigeria. This coalition is fueled by personal grudges, not by the will of the people or any desire to work for the common good."
