The swift and coordinated response of emergency services, including the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS), ensured that all 14 individuals were rescued and provided with immediate medical care. Fortunately, there were no fatalities, though several people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
The incident caused heavy traffic delays in both directions as emergency responders worked tirelessly to clear the wreckage and transport the injured to nearby hospitals.
