The Egyptian government has announced a new policy change that will grant visa waivers to Nigerian diplomats, effective immediately. This move is part of Egypt's ongoing efforts to enhance diplomatic ties and streamline travel for its African partners.

In a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the new policy will allow Nigerian diplomats and their families to travel to Egypt without the need for visas, aligning with Egypt's commitment to fostering stronger diplomatic relations within the African continent. This decision is expected to further facilitate bilateral cooperation in various fields, including trade, culture, and education.

In addition to this diplomatic gesture, Egypt has also revised its visa and consular service fees for Nigerian citizens. The new fee structure, which has been designed to make the visa application process more accessible and transparent, will see an adjustment in charges for tourist, business, and student visas. Full details of the revised fee schedule can be obtained from Egypt's consular services and embassies worldwide.
