The Executive Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has handed over the government of the state to his deputy Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The governor forwarded a letter to the State House of Assembly and addressed it to the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun. He informed the lawmakers of his intention to proceed on a 15 – working day vacation as the first installment of his 2023 Annual Leave.
Akeredolu said that the vacation will commence from Monday, 3rd to Tuesday, 25th April 2023 and he will resume back to office on Wednesday, 26th April 2023.
The governor said Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa who is his deputy will now perform the functions of the office of the Governor, effective from today till Tuesday, 25th April 2023.
