The Legal Director of Bola Tinubu-Kashim Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Babatunde Ogala has disclosed that the camp of the President-elect officially received the notices of the petitions filed at the election tribunal by the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Ogala told Punch Newspaper that “Yes, we received copies of both Atiku and Obi’s petition on Tuesday.”
Meanwhile, the APC legal adviser, Ahmad El-Marzuq, also told the press that the ruling party had been served the petition and will respond to it as soon as possible.
“Of course, we have received the copies of the petition and we are planning to respond. We are on top of the situation,” he said.
However, APC has up to 21 days to respond to the petition.
