The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is pleased to announce the official release of the results for the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates. This marks the successful conclusion of the May/June examination cycle, which saw over 1.9 million students across 23,000 schools participate nationwide.

Speaking at a press briefing in Lagos, Dr. Amos Dangut, Head of WAEC’s National Office, confirmed that all processes leading to the release of the results have been completed. Despite logistical challenges during the conduct of the exams, the Council reported a smooth and secure administration of the assessments.

Candidates can now access their results online via the WAEC result portal at waecdirect.org. To check their performance, students are advised to have their e-PIN voucher, examination number, and select the appropriate exam year and type.

WAEC also addressed recent misinformation circulating on social media regarding alleged cancellation of results due to malpractice. The Council firmly debunked these claims, assuring the public that the results are valid and officially released.

WAEC extends its congratulations to all successful candidates and encourages those seeking further clarification to contact their schools or visit the official WAEC website.
