A devastating accident occurred this morning at the Isheri Market, OPIC junction, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, when a truck reportedly suffered a brake failure and crashed into the bustling marketplace. The tragic incident resulted in the death of a local tea vendor and left several others injured.
Eyewitnesses reported that the truck, inbound to Ibadan, lost control and swerved into the market stalls, destroying goods and structures in its path. A security guard at the market recounted his near-death experience, stating that he had just purchased tea from the deceased vendor moments before the crash.
