The civil lawsuit alleging sexual assault against Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter and Sean "Diddy" Combs has been voluntarily dismissed with prejudice, preventing future litigation on the matter. The accuser, referred to as Jane Doe, had alleged that the two music moguls raped her in 2000 when she was 13 years old.

Jay-Z, through his attorney Alex Spiro, expressed relief following the dismissal, stating, "Today is a victory. The frivolous, fictitious, and appalling allegations have been dismissed. This civil suit was without merit and never going anywhere." He further emphasized the personal impact of the allegations, noting the distress caused to his family and loved ones.

Sean Combs, who continues to face multiple sexual assault allegations and is currently awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, has denied all accusations against him. His legal team has described the dismissed lawsuit as "baseless" and "without merit."
