The Lagos State Government is pleased to announce the upcoming inauguration of a state-of-the-art 280-bed multi-specialist general hospital located in Ojo Local Government Area. This significant healthcare project is set to commence operations by December 2025, marking a pivotal advancement in medical services within the region.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made the announcement during a recent inspection of the hospital construction site, emphasizing the facility's potential to enhance healthcare delivery for residents. "This project is an end-to-end healthcare facility that will provide comprehensive medical services, including outpatient care, medical diagnostics, and accident and emergency services," he stated.
Designed to accommodate a diverse range of medical needs across four specialized verticals.
The facility will include a central laboratory, a large restaurant, and accommodation for medical personnel, comprising 64 residential flats with both three-bedroom and one-bedroom units.
The design promotes a holistic approach to healthcare, allowing medical staff to live on-site while providing essential services.
Governor Sanwo-Olu highlighted that this hospital will be the largest multi-specialist facility in the Lagos West senatorial district. He expressed confidence that the completion of this project will significantly improve access to quality healthcare for the community.
