Former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has publicly criticized Bwala, a prominent aide to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, calling him a “political jobber” amid rising tensions within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). El-Rufai's sharp remarks underscore the ongoing internal disagreements that have intensified since the APC's victory in the 2023 general elections.

El-Rufai, who has been an outspoken figure in Nigerian politics, did not hold back in his comments during an interview earlier today. He suggested that Bwala, who has consistently supported President Tinubu, was driven by personal ambitions rather than genuine political ideology or public service. The former governor further stressed that despite his removal from government office, he would continue to criticize the APC leadership if necessary, particularly pointing out what he described as the "tragedy" currently unfolding within the party.

“If I were still in government, I would continue to speak out against the failures within the APC leadership. It is clear that our party is heading in the wrong direction, and I will not be silent in the face of this crisis,” El-Rufai stated.

El-Rufai’s comments have sparked reactions across the political spectrum, with many observing the growing rift between key figures within the APC. While some view El-Rufai’s remarks as a call for accountability and reform within the ruling party, others see it as an attempt to further destabilize the party amid ongoing leadership challenges.
