Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has once again presented the proposed 2025 budget to the Rivers State House of Assembly, despite its current reduced membership of four lawmakers. “The 2025 budget is a forward-looking document that reflects our ongoing efforts to build a prosperous and sustainable future for Rivers State. It is a testament to our commitment to infrastructural development, economic diversification, and the well-being of our people,” Governor Fubara said in his address.

The Governor’s presentation came amid calls for strengthening the legislative process and ensuring adequate representation for the people of Rivers State. Despite the challenges, the government is determined to move forward with the execution of projects that will benefit all sectors of society.
