A tragic road accident occurred this morning in Jigawa State, resulting in the loss of 10 lives and leaving one individual seriously injured. The incident took place along the Dutse-Kiyawa road, around 8:00 AM, when a passenger bus collided with a truck under still-unclear circumstances.
According to eyewitnesses, the bus, carrying 11 passengers, was traveling from Dutse to Kiyawa when it lost control and crashed into an oncoming truck. The force of the impact resulted in immediate fatalities, with 10 passengers confirmed dead at the scene. One other passenger, a male in his 30s, sustained critical injuries and has been transferred to a local hospital for emergency treatment.
