The First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency Oluremi Tinubu, has expressed her heartfelt condolences and prayers to the victims and families affected by the tragic fuel tanker explosion in Niger State. The devastating incident, which occurred on Sunday, September 8, 2024, claimed the lives of over 48 individuals and caused significant property damage.

In her condolence message, First Lady Tinubu extended her deepest sympathies to the Governor of Niger State, His Excellency Mohammed Umar Bago, and the entire community of Agaie Local Government Area, where the incident took place. She emphasized her solidarity with the grieving families and the entire state during this difficult time.


“My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Niger State, especially the families who have lost their loved ones in this tragic accident,” said First Lady Tinubu. “I pray that Almighty Allah grants them the strength and fortitude to bear this painful loss and that He grants the deceased Aljannah Firdaus.”
