In a landmark verdict that has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, while being acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.

The verdict was delivered today by a 12-member jury at the U.S. District Court in Manhattan after more than seven weeks of testimony and three days of deliberation. Combs, 55, faced five federal charges stemming from a sweeping investigation into alleged criminal conduct spanning over two decades.

Each conviction carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison, with sentencing expected later this year.

The trial featured emotional testimony from more than 30 witnesses, including Ventura and “Jane,” who described coercive relationships and disturbing encounters allegedly orchestrated by Combs. Prosecutors argued that the Bad Boy Records founder used his wealth and influence to manipulate and exploit women under the guise of consensual relationships.

Combs, who did not testify in his own defense, maintained his innocence throughout the proceedings. His legal team characterized the case as a “gross exaggeration” of consensual adult behavior and vowed to appeal the convictions.

As the verdict was read, Combs reportedly made a praying gesture toward the jury and exchanged emotional glances with family members in the courtroom.
