The Delta State Police Command has arrested three individuals in connection with the tragic murder of a young woman whose body was discovered tied up in a guest house in Owhelogbo community, Isoko North Local Government Area.
According to police reports, the victim, identified as Bishop Sunday Ogofotha, had checked into Century Home Hotel while visiting for a relative’s burial. Concerns arose when he failed to attend the funeral, prompting family members to search for him.
Upon arriving at the hotel, relatives were initially informed that no such guest had lodged there. However, after a heated exchange, they insisted on searching the premises. Their persistence led to the discovery of the victim’s lifeless body in one of the rooms, tied up with ropes and bearing multiple injuries.
The Delta State Police Command has confirmed that the hotel manager conspired with two suspects who had promised him a sum of N5 million to grant them access to the victim’s room.
