With heavy hearts and profound sadness, the Christian community in Nigeria mourns the sudden passing of Reverend Azzaman David, a prominent Christian faith advocate and founder of Kings Worship Center International. Rev. David tragically lost his life in a fatal auto crash on Friday, May 23, 2025, along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway.
Known for his bold voice in defense of persecuted Christians and his passionate sermons advocating unity, justice, and righteousness, Rev. Azzaman David was a respected spiritual leader in Kaduna State and beyond. He was widely regarded as a fearless defender of religious freedom and a tireless servant of God.
The accident, which involved a collision between his vehicle and an oncoming car, occurred in the early hours of the morning. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but Rev. David succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The driver and another passenger were rushed to a nearby hospital and are currently receiving treatment.
Rev. Azzaman was instrumental in calling attention to the plight of Christian communities affected by violence and displacement in northern Nigeria.
