In a strategic move aimed at revitalizing the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the South-East and strengthening internal cohesion, the PDP National Reconciliation Committee met today with Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah at the Enugu State Government House.

Led by the Chairman of the Committee, Senator Bukola Saraki, the high-level delegation engaged Governor Mbah in constructive dialogue focused on resolving internal disputes, reinforcing party unity, and charting a path forward for the PDP in the region.

“The PDP is at a critical juncture, and the role of leaders like Governor Mbah is central to our collective success,” Senator Saraki stated. “Our meeting today was productive, and we are confident that with continued collaboration, we can restore the party’s strength and electoral viability.”

Governor Mbah, who has been widely commended for his developmental strides in Enugu State, expressed strong support for the committee’s mission and reaffirmed his commitment to working with party stakeholders to address lingering grievances and build a more united front ahead of upcoming elections.

“I appreciate the visit of the Reconciliation Committee and their commitment to party unity,” Governor Mbah said. “As leaders, we have a responsibility to ensure that the PDP remains a beacon of hope and progress for Nigerians.”
