Former Governor of Kano State and National Leader of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has strongly condemned the recent wave of killings in Plateau State, calling for immediate action to apprehend and prosecute those responsible for the violence.

In a statement released on Monday, Kwankwaso expressed deep concern over the recurring attacks on innocent communities in Plateau, describing them as "senseless, brutal, and unacceptable." He emphasized that no society can thrive under constant insecurity and called on the federal and state governments, as well as security agencies, to rise to the occasion.

“These killings must stop. The lives of Nigerians, regardless of tribe or religion, must be protected at all costs. The perpetrators of these heinous crimes must be brought to justice without delay,” Kwankwaso stated. “We cannot continue to condone impunity in our society. Every Nigerian deserves to live in peace and security.”

Kwankwaso urged for a more proactive and intelligence-driven approach to security in the region, stressing the need for the government to invest in local peacebuilding initiatives and community-based conflict resolution. He also extended his condolences to the families of the victims and the people of Plateau State, assuring them of his solidarity during this difficult time.
