In a bold statement on national television, Rivers-based activist Jake Epelle has firmly declared that Governor Siminalayi Fubara will not face impeachment. Speaking on Channels Television's *The Morning Brief* earlier today, Epelle emphasized the unwavering support of the Rivers people for their governor, dismissing any impeachment threats as baseless and undemocratic.

"Nobody will impeach Fubara," Epelle stated unequivocally. "The people of Rivers State are solidly behind him. He has not committed any impeachable offense, and any attempt to remove him from office will fail."

Epelle also called for an end to the ongoing political tensions between Governor Fubara and former Governor Nyesom Wike, urging both parties to prioritize the interests of the state over personal disputes. "This state is bigger than Wike and Fubara," he said. "The ego-tripping and threats must stop. Rivers people deserve peace and progress."

The activist further criticized the actions of the Rivers State House of Assembly, which recently denied Governor Fubara access to the Assembly complex. He described the move as an embarrassment to the state and a hindrance to democratic processes.
