In response to recent developments and in accordance with national security protocols, the Nigerian Police Force has officially withdrawn all officers currently assigned to the Rivers State Government House in Port Harcourt. This decision comes as part of a strategic move to ensure the continued safety and stability of the region, following recent security assessments.

A new batch of personnel has been deployed to the Government House to ensure the security of key government installations while maintaining order in the state. The newly deployed officers are specially trained to handle evolving security challenges, and their deployment is aimed at strengthening the overall law enforcement presence in Rivers State.

The Nigerian Police Force emphasized that this action is a temporary but necessary measure in light of intelligence reports that indicate potential threats to the peace and stability of the state. Affected authorities have assured the public that the move is aimed at ensuring better coordination in maintaining security, and it will not disrupt the regular operations of government functions.
