In a dramatic turn of events, officers from the Abuja Force Headquarters have stormed a Lagos court today to re-arrest popular TikToker Seaking, following the release of videos critical of the Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

Seaking, a social media influencer with a growing following, had previously come under scrutiny for his controversial videos targeting Pastor Adeboye and the RCCG Church. In the videos, Seaking made allegations and expressed strong criticisms of the church's leadership and practices, sparking widespread debate across social media platforms.

The situation took a legal turn when Seaking was initially arrested and later released on bail. However, police authorities from Abuja moved quickly to execute an arrest warrant at the Lagos court this morning, citing the need to address what they called “the escalating nature of the case” and concerns over the videos’ potential to incite unrest.

“We are taking action in response to the gravity of the situation and to ensure that the legal process is upheld," said a police spokesperson. "The allegations made in the videos are being investigated, and it is important that we proceed with the necessary legal measures.”

Seaking, who gained attention for his outspoken commentary on social issues, has not made an official statement following the re-arrest. However, his supporters have expressed concern over what they describe as a targeted effort to silence criticism and free speech.
