In a significant move towards strengthening the governance structure in Nasarawa State, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule today swore in 15 newly appointed commissioners, urging them to dedicate themselves to good governance and development across the state.
The ceremony, held at the Government House in Lafia, saw the swearing-in of a diverse group of individuals tasked with overseeing key sectors, ranging from health, education, finance, agriculture, and more. The Governor also issued a stern warning against corruption, highlighting the dangers of mismanagement and unethical conduct in public office. He emphasized that anyone found engaging in corrupt practices would face severe consequences, stating, "Corruption is the enemy of development and the trust of the people. I will not tolerate it in this administration. Any act of dishonesty will be dealt with decisively."
