A shocking discovery has emerged from the ongoing investigation into the tragic death of Hafsoh, a final-year student at the University of Ilorin, whose lifeless body was found under mysterious circumstances. During a police raid of the residence of an Islamic cleric in Kwara State, investigators uncovered 13 women's shoes, raising suspicions that Hafsoh’s death may be part of a series of murders. The victim’s family has come forward with the claim that this evidence points to a broader pattern of killings, which may have involved other women prior to Hafsoh’s untimely demise.

The discovery of the shoes, some of which appear to have been in use recently, suggests that the cleric’s home may have been used as a hideout for other women, possibly under false pretenses, before being subjected to violent outcomes. The family of the late Hafsoh believes that their daughter’s death was not an isolated incident and that there may be other victims yet to be accounted for.

The family has urged law enforcement to consider the possibility of multiple murders linked to this cleric, demanding a thorough investigation into the lives of the other women whose shoes were found at the scene. They emphasized the need for justice not only for Hafsoh but also for all women who may have suffered at the hands of the accused.

“We are heartbroken and appalled by this discovery. Our daughter was a bright, hopeful student with a promising future. To learn that her death might be part of a series of murders is incomprehensible,” said the victim's uncle, who spoke on behalf of the grieving family. “We call for an expedited investigation and for all those responsible to be brought to justice.”

Authorities have confirmed that they are reviewing all evidence, including the significance of the shoes, and expanding their investigation into the cleric’s activities. The police have yet to comment publicly on the possible connection between the 13 shoes and other missing women, but they have assured the public that the case is being handled with the utmost seriousness.
