In a remarkable turn of events, all three occupants of the missing Antonov An-2 plane have been found alive after a three-day search in the remote Kamchatka Peninsula. The aircraft, which had been carrying commercial cargo, disappeared from radar on December 19, prompting an extensive search operation by local authorities.

Rescue teams located the plane in a rugged area of Kamchatka on Sunday morning. The occupants were reported to be in good health despite the challenging conditions they faced during their time in the wilderness. Local officials confirmed that the trio was able to signal for help, which facilitated their rescue.

The search operation involved multiple agencies and utilized both aerial and ground resources to comb through the dense forests and mountainous terrain typical of this remote region. Authorities expressed relief at the successful outcome, emphasizing the importance of swift action and coordination among rescue teams.

Governor Vladimir Solodov of Kamchatka commended the efforts of the rescuers, stating, "The successful recovery of all three individuals is a testament to our dedicated emergency services and their commitment to ensuring the safety of our citizens."
