President Bola Tinubu welcomed distinguished guests to his Lagos residence on Saturday as part of the Eid-el-Kabir festivities. Among the visitors were former Delta State Governor James Ibori, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Abubakar Bagudu, and renowned industrialist Razak Okoya, accompanied by his wife, Shade Okoya, and their son.
The gathering was part of President Tinubu’s ongoing engagements in Lagos, where he has been since May 27. During his stay, he participated in the 50th anniversary celebration of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and inaugurated several development projects.
In his Eid message, President Tinubu emphasized the importance of national unity and collective purpose in advancing Nigeria’s progress. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by citizens over the past year and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring their economic, social, and physical well-being.
The President is expected to return to Abuja following the conclusion of the Sallah celebrations.
