President Donald J. Trump has arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the first stop of his highly anticipated Middle East tour. Upon landing at King Khalid International Airport, President Trump was greeted with a grand welcome by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, underscoring the strong diplomatic ties between the United States and Saudi Arabia.  




The arrival ceremony featured a lavender carpet reception, a traditional Saudi gesture of honor, as well as a fighter jet escort for Air Force One through Saudi airspace. The two leaders later engaged in discussions over Arabic coffee at the opulent Saudi Royal Court, joined by key U.S. officials including Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.




During his visit, President Trump is expected to focus on strengthening economic partnerships, with Saudi Arabia pledging a $600 billion investment in U.S. industries, including energy, artificial intelligence, manufacturing, and defense. The U.S. is also reportedly preparing a $100 billion arms package for Saudi Arabia, reinforcing security cooperation between the two nations.
