The All Activists Congress (AAC) has called for a full investigation into the alleged embezzlement of N150 million in relation to a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) road project. The party’s leadership has raised concerns over the misappropriation of funds meant for critical infrastructure development in the capital city, demanding that authorities act swiftly to uncover the truth and ensure accountability.

In a statement issued by the party's National Secretary, Chinedu Okoye, the AAC emphasized the urgency of addressing the growing public outrage surrounding the alleged diversion of public funds. According to the party, the N150 million was allocated to the construction and rehabilitation of key road networks in the FCT, but there are serious allegations that the funds have been mismanaged or siphoned off by individuals entrusted with overseeing the project.

"The continued mismanagement of public funds has become a disturbing trend in the current administration. The people of the FCT deserve to see their tax contributions being invested in tangible development, not stolen or misappropriated by unscrupulous individuals. We demand an immediate and thorough investigation into the allegations of embezzlement surrounding the FCT road project," Okoye stated.

The party further called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and other relevant agencies to step in and probe the matter, ensuring that any individuals found guilty of embezzling public funds face the full weight of the law.
