A Nigerian court has scheduled April 2025 for the ruling on objections raised in the ongoing N152 million fraud case involving the CEO of Oak Homes, Mr. Samuel Olayiwola. The case, which has captured significant public attention, centers on allegations of fraudulent activities tied to the misappropriation of N152 million in a real estate transaction.

The case was brought before the court after a complaint was filed by a group of investors who claim that they were deceived by Oak Homes into making substantial payments for properties that were never delivered. The complainants allege that Mr. Olayiwola and his company, Oak Homes, misled them regarding the status of the properties and have since failed to honor their financial commitments.

In the most recent court session, defense lawyers for Mr. Olayiwola raised several objections to the charges brought against him, questioning the legitimacy of certain evidence and the validity of the claims made by the investors. These objections prompted the court to adjourn and set a date in April 2025 for a final decision on the matter.

The case continues to garner attention from the public and industry observers alike, with many watching closely to see whether Oak Homes and its CEO will be held accountable for their actions. Legal experts anticipate that the April ruling will have significant implications for both real estate development practices and fraud prevention mechanisms in Nigeria’s growing property sector.
