Three men have filed lawsuits against American music mogul and rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs, alleging sexual assault and rape. The lawsuits, which were filed in New York City earlier this week, describe incidents of harassment, abuse, and coerced sexual encounters, which the plaintiffs claim occurred over the past several years. The men are seeking compensation for their emotional and physical trauma as well as punitive damages.
The lawsuits, which are being pursued by a prominent group of attorneys, accuse Combs of engaging in predatory behavior, exploiting his position of power in the music industry, and subjecting the plaintiffs to disturbing and violent sexual acts. The allegations span several incidents, with the victims claiming that they were manipulated or forced into sexual situations under threat of career retaliation or other forms of pressure.
“We are standing up for these brave men who have suffered in silence for far too long,” said one of the plaintiffs’ attorneys. “The law is clear: no one, regardless of their fame or status, is above the law. These men deserve justice and an opportunity to heal from the trauma they endured.”
Combs, who has not yet publicly commented on the lawsuits, has previously faced similar allegations in the past, but this marks the first time that men have come forward with sexual assault and rape claims against the star. His legal team has vowed to vigorously defend him against the accusations, asserting that the claims are baseless and that Combs will clear his name in court.
The plaintiffs, whose identities have not been fully revealed for their privacy, say they are seeking justice not only for themselves but also to shine a light on issues of sexual violence within the entertainment industry, where individuals in positions of power often go unchecked.
