The Chairman and CEO of Air Peace, Nigeria’s largest carrier, Mr. Allen Ifechukwu Onyema, today held a high-level meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja. The meeting, which took place at the Presidential Villa, focused on discussions related to the growth of Nigeria’s aviation industry, strategic investments, and collaborations to bolster the nation's economy.
Mr. Onyema, a prominent business leader in Nigeria’s aviation sector, shared his vision for expanding Air Peace’s footprint within Nigeria and across the African continent. He also addressed challenges facing the industry, such as infrastructural development, policy reforms, and the need for more government support in enabling the growth of local airlines.
In his address, President Tinubu reiterated his administration's commitment to supporting indigenous businesses, particularly those in the aviation sector, as a means of promoting national economic development and job creation. He praised Air Peace for its remarkable contribution to the growth of Nigeria’s aviation industry and its pivotal role in improving air connectivity both within the country and internationally.
