In a dramatic escalation of tensions in the Middle East, President Donald J. Trump has confirmed that the United States military conducted targeted airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear sites: Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. The announcement was made Saturday evening via the President’s official Truth Social account and later reiterated in a televised address from the White House.

President Trump described the operation as a “very successful attack” aimed at neutralizing Iran’s nuclear capabilities. “A full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary site, Fordow,” he stated. “All planes are now outside of Iranian airspace and safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors.”

The strikes mark the first direct U.S. military intervention against Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and follow more than a week of Israeli-led aerial operations targeting Iranian military and nuclear assets. According to defense officials, the U.S. deployed B-2 stealth bombers equipped with GBU-57 bunker-busting munitions, capable of penetrating fortified underground facilities.

Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization confirmed the attacks but insisted its nuclear program would continue. Iranian officials have condemned the strikes as an act of war, warning of “everlasting consequences” and vowing retaliation.
