The 2025 Budget, dubbed the "Budget of Progress and Prosperity," is structured to prioritize critical sectors including infrastructure development, education, healthcare, security, and job creation, all aimed at enhancing the quality of life for Lagosians. It aligns with the administration's vision to solidify Lagos as a smart, sustainable, and globally competitive city.

In the area of education, funding will be directed toward the expansion of schools, digital learning, and scholarship programs for underprivileged students.

The health sector also receives a major boost with an allocation for upgrading hospitals, expanding healthcare facilities, and improving the availability of medical services, especially in underserved areas.

Security is another top priority, with a substantial investment in the State Security Trust Fund (SSTF) aimed at further enhancing the safety and security of residents.

Key highlights of the 2025 Budget include:

N1.1 trillion for infrastructure development, including road construction, the expansion of the rail network, and urban renewal programs.

N450 billion for education, including new schools, teacher training, and educational technology advancements.
